Datsun 240Z Turn Signal Switch (1971)
If you suspect your turn signal switch is bad, you might consider to (carefully) disassemble and clean it. The full current for the turn signal lamps goes through this switch, so over 40+ years, the switch contacts take a beating. This is a simple and effective project, however, patience is required.

After careful sanding with 600 grit sandpaper. Not perfect, but much better.
